Cathy Longano is an elementary school teacher with a passion for education and teaching. She taught for over ten years at various grade levels with her most recent one being Pre-Kindergarten, which she adored. She is currently a Preschool Instructional Coach in her school district and truly enjoys her role. This author is also a dog lover! She has a pug named Meatball, whom her book is written about and dedicated to as well.

Longano had a dream of writing and publishing a children's book one day. She wanted to combine her worlds and write a story that her students would learn from, connect with, and simply enjoy. Most of all, she wanted a special way to honor her precious dog that is so very dear to her. With that, Meatball's Mixed-Up Moods was born!
